By the Puck Drop Prints team. Updated October 2026.
A custom hockey team store is an online shop stocked with gear carrying your team's logo, and Puck Drop Prints includes a free swag store with any team order. The team order minimum is 6 jerseys, so the smallest order that comes with a store is six roller jerseys at $330, or six Sublimated kits at $600.
There is no separate application and no setup fee. Place the team order, and the store comes with it.
So here is the whole answer, with the numbers attached.
What is a custom hockey team store?
A custom hockey team store is a dedicated online shop where your players, parents and fans buy merchandise printed with your team's logo, ordered individually and shipped to each person. Nobody collects cash at the rink. Nobody chases your winger for $40 in October. Each person buys their own gear from a page that only exists for your team.
It is the difference between a jersey order and a brand. The jersey order dresses twelve guys for game night. The store lets your captain's wife buy a hoodie, your goalie's dad buy a hat, and the guy who tore his ACL in November buy something so he still feels like he plays for the team.
Puck Drop Prints runs these through Printful and lists nine live examples on the How It Works page, the Sabretooths, Killer Bees, Flow Dogs, Plymouth Whalers, Spartans, Rink Rats, 16-bit Legends, Disco Turkeys, and one called the Pinus that we are not going to explain here.
Nine Puck Drop Prints team stores are live and listed publicly on the How It Works page.
Do you need a minimum number of jerseys to get a team store?
No extra threshold. Every team order comes with a free swag store, and a team order starts at 6 jerseys on every jersey type. If your team is big enough to order jerseys, it is big enough to have a store.
That matters for small rosters. A six-man summer roller team gets the same storefront as a 30-player charity game, so the girlfriends, parents and injured guys can all buy in without you collecting a single payment.
What does the smallest team order with a store cost?
Between $330 and $804, depending on what you order. Six jerseys cost $330 in roller, $390 in sublimated and $594 in reversible or pro tackle twill. Six full Uni Kits cost $600 to $804. Names, numbers and logo design are included, and shipping is free worldwide on team orders.
| Six-player order | Per player | Team total |
|---|---|---|
| Roller jerseys | $55 | $330 |
| Sublimated jerseys | $65 | $390 |
| Reversible or pro tackle twill jerseys | $99 | $594 |
| Sublimated kits (jersey, socks, pant shell) | $100 (reg $120) | $600 |
| Roller kits (jersey, roller pants) | $100 | $600 |
| Tackle twill or Reversible kits (jersey, socks, pant shell) | $134 (reg $154) | $804 |
Want the full uniform? Uni Kits are priced per player at 6+ players: Sublimated kit $100 (reg $120), Tackle Twill kit $134 (reg $154), Reversible kit $134 (reg $154), and the Roller kit (jersey + roller pants) $100. Pant shells are $35 and socks $20 on their own. See the pricing page, or start building yours in the jersey customizer.
If you want the full breakdown of what each jersey type actually gets you, we published every custom hockey jersey price with the math already.
Should you order spares now or reorder later?
Order the spares now. The store sells merchandise, not game jerseys, so a player who joins in January still needs a jersey reorder. Reorders of 1 to 2 jerseys are $85 each for roller or sublimated and $99 each for reversible or tackle twill; at 3 or more you are back at the team price.
| Sublimated, 8 players | Cost |
|---|---|
| 8 jerseys in the original order at $65 | $520 |
| 6 now at $65, 2 reordered in January at $85 | $560 |
| Difference | $40 more for waiting |
The store handles the hoodies and hats. The original order is where you cover the two guys who always show up halfway through the season.
What do you need before the store can open?
A logo. Everything in a team store is that one piece of artwork applied to different blanks, so the logo has to exist before the store does. Puck Drop Prints designs it free with a team order and the team keeps the artwork afterwards, which means the same file works on next season's jerseys without paying for it twice.
Tackle twill is stitched fabric lettering, sublimation is dye printed into the fabric, and roller is a lighter printed jersey, but the store merchandise is printed separately from the jerseys, so the decoration method on your sweater does not limit what the store can carry.
Logo and jersey design are free with a team order, and the team keeps the artwork for future orders.
If your team does not have a logo yet, that is not a blocker, it is step two. The ordering process puts design before production, with first drafts inside 3 to 5 business days.
How long does it take?
Four to five weeks for roller, sublimated and reversible jerseys, and five to six weeks for pro tackle twill. Once the final proof is approved and payment clears, production itself runs about 3 to 4 weeks. The design phase before that is where most of the variable time sits, because it depends on how fast your team agrees on a color.
Which, historically, is the longest phase in the sport.
Production runs 3 to 4 weeks after the final proof is approved; total turnaround is 4 to 5 weeks on most jersey types.
Plan backwards from your first game. If you want jerseys for an October puck drop, the order needs to be moving in August, the same timing that governs youth team jersey orders.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many jerseys do you need to get a custom hockey team store?
Six, because that is the team order minimum. Puck Drop Prints includes a free swag store with any team order, stocked with merchandise branded with the team's logo. There is no separate application and no setup fee.
Does a custom hockey team store cost extra?
No. The store is free with any team order. A team order starts at six jerseys: $55 each for roller, $65 for sublimated, and $99 for reversible or pro tackle twill, which puts the smallest order with a store at $330. Uni Kits run $100 to $134 per player.
What is the minimum order for custom hockey jerseys?
Six jerseys, across every jersey type, roller, sublimated, reversible and pro tackle twill. Puck Drop Prints does not currently produce one-off custom jerseys for new customers. Teams that have already placed an order can reorder in smaller quantities, at $85 each for one or two roller or sublimated pieces.
What does a custom hockey team store sell?
Merchandise branded with the team's logo, ordered individually by players, parents and fans rather than bought in bulk by the team. Puck Drop Prints runs these stores through Printful and lists nine live team stores publicly on its How It Works page, including the Sabretooths, Flow Dogs, Plymouth Whalers and Disco Turkeys.
How long does a custom hockey team order take?
Four to five weeks for roller, sublimated and reversible jerseys, and five to six weeks for pro tackle twill. Production runs about 3 to 4 weeks once the final proof is approved and payment is processed. Design drafts arrive within 3 to 5 business days of the initial inquiry, so the design phase carries most of the variable time.
Who designs the logo for a hockey team store?
Puck Drop Prints designs the logo free with a team order, and the team keeps the artwork afterwards for future orders. Because every item in a team store is that logo applied to different products, the artwork has to be finalized before the store opens. Teams arriving without a logo are not delayed beyond the normal design phase.
Getting your team store open
Count your roster. If you have six players, you have a team order, and a team order comes with a store your team will still be buying from in three years.
Start Your Order and we will sort out the design, the roster spreadsheet and the store from there. Everything else, pricing, sizing, turnaround, is published on the FAQ before you ever send an email.
